FUNDING ARCHIVE: November 13th, 2012
Thanks to you--our Kickstarter Campaign was successful!!!!!
Thanks to all 171 of you who helped us reach our goal of $20,000 and even surpass it. We raised $22,538 and could not have done it without you. This will help us finish production and complete our rough cut in the next several months. Frank and I are excited to have all of you join our community of supporters for the film and for the life it will have once it is completed.
We want to extend a big heartfelt thank you to our scholars, Professors Martha Biondi, Kimberle Crenshaw and Ibram Rogers for making our event in New York City such a success. We are also grateful for the support we received from Orrick, who hosted the New York event and will be featuring the trailer at its Diversity event in San Francisco on Wednesday, November 14th at noon. If any of you are in the Bay Area and would like to attend this screening of the trailer, followed by a discussion with co-producer Abby Ginzberg and Professor Troy Duster of UC Berkeley, please send an email to abbyginzberg@gmail.com. We would also like to give a special shout out to Zachary Carter, who has made space available at his firm for filming and has been a strong supporter of this project from the beginning.
As backers of the project you will soon receive an email requesting your address so we can begin to send out the gifts for your donations. Please be sure to fill out the information so we can begin to distribute the items.
On behalf of the Agents of Change team, thank you so much for believing in this project and contributing to the success of our Kickstarter campaign!!!!!!
